Kobano is a new Japanese-Brazilian fusion restaurant that came to us with a specific ask: create a brand identity that feels organic but elevated—something that pops while staying rooted in nature. By using a hand-drawn typeface, a deep, contrast-heavy orange, and macro nature imagery, we built a visual system that gave Kobano what they needed for an incredible launch and continued success in New York City.
